the impossible possible: how to light a match which was already
lit once
The magic trick
The audience will see the magician take a burned out match and light
it once again. Since the audience sees that the match was already
lit before and knows that it is not possible to light it one more
time, the magic is shown when the magician does the impossible.
How to perform this trick
Before the trick is performed, the magician shows the burned out
match to the audience so they can make sure that the match was already
lit once. Then the magician suddenly lights this burned out match
one more time and shows the burning match to the audience.
The secret
In order to successfully perform this trick the magician need to
make a normal match look like it was already lit one. This can be
done easily by taking a knife and making a top part of the match
a little thinner. Then the magician will need to take a black marker
and color the top part of the match in black. After these steps
are performed, the match will look used and burned out.
