illusion: a coin disappears in a piece of cloth
The magic trick
The magician will show the audience how to make a coin disappear in
a piece of cloth. The audience will see the magician take a coin and
push it into the piece of cloth. Then they will see that the coin
has suddenly disappeared.
How to perform this trick
In order to effectively perform the trick, the magician will show
the coin and the piece of cloth to the audience. The magician needs
to hold the piece of cloth by the middle part. Then the magician
starts pushing the coin right into the middle part of the cloth,
where his fingers are. After the coin is pushed through and not
seen by the audience, the magician shakes the piece of cloth and
nothing falls out of it.
The secret
Before the trick is performed, the magician will need to take a
rubber band and place it around a middle part of the cloth. When
the coin is pushed through the cloth, it is being captured by the
rubber band. This rubber band will hold the coin from falling out
of the cloth.
