Precise
handling: how to balance one coin on top of another
The magic trick
The magician will show the audience how to balance one coin on top
of another. The audience will see the magician place one coin on the
top edge of another coin and balance it in such a way that the top
coin does not fall down.
How to perform this trick
Before the magician performs the trick, he will show two coins,
side by side, to the audience. Then the magician slowly turns the
two coins, still being held next to each other, in such a way that
one coin is on top of another. After that the magician takes his
fingers of the top coin and starts making balancing moves.
The secret
To perform the trick and to make the audience believe, the magician
needs to simply glue a match to both coins in such a way that the
top part of the match is glued to one coin and the bottom half to
the second coin. This will ensure that the coins are firmly connected
to each other. When the magician balances the coins, they will not
fall apart as they are glued to each other.
